Educational Qualification:-  12th

AGE Group:- Candidates’ age must be between 18 to 23 years. Cut-off date for determining age limit would be 01 AUG, 2012. (Age relaxations will be extended as per Govt. rules).

Last Date :-   20.11.2012

Pay Scale:-  According to the Pre-Medical Sena Force.

Application Fee:-  For General Rs.50 as Demand Draft. In the Favour of "Directorate General Assam Rifles,on SBI DGAR, Code.no.7338" Payable at "Shillong".
"NO FEE for SC/ST"

Physical Ability:-
(i)Height:-  170 cm,  Minimum Height of candidates falling in the categories of garhwalis, kumaonis, Gorkhas, Dogras, Marathas.. and candidates belonging to the states of sikkim, nagaland, manipur, Tripura H.P, Kashmir will be 165 cms.
The Minimum Height for ST will be 162.5 cms.

(ii)Chest::-80 cm. The minimum Chest for candidates falling in the categories of garhwalis, kumaonis, Gorkhas, Dogras, Marathas.. and candidates belonging to the states of sikkim, nagaland, manipur, Tripura H.P, Kashmir  will be 78 cms
The Minimum Chest for ST will be 76 cms.
Minimum 5cm Expansion.
